Dubai Residential Property Price Indices: Sales Price Indices
Residential property prices in Dubai housing market performed well in October 2012. The Dubai Residential Property Sales Index for all residential increased by 3.9 points, from 188.3 to 192.2, which represents an increase of 2.07% mom. On the other hand, prices increased 17.3% yoy.

Apartment sales prices registered an increase in October 2012. Prices increased 2.12% mom and 8.81% yoy.

Villa sales prices show relatively high nominal growth on a mom basis in October 2012. Prices increased 1.97% mom and 23.40% yoy.

Apartment sales prices with the size “50sqm and less”, increased by a nominal 2.04%; for “51sqm-100sqm”, increased by a nominal 1.96%; for “101sqm-150sqm”, increased by 1.81%; for “151sqm and more” and increased by a nominal 2.26% in October 2012.

Dubai Residential Property Price Indices: Rental Price Indices
Residential property prices in Dubai rental market decreased by 0.34 points, from 75.39 to 75.05, which represents a decrease of 0.45% mom in October 2012. On the other hand, rental prices increase 3.84% yoy.

Apartment rental prices show a decrease on a mom basis in October 2012. Prices decreased 1.67% mom but increased 0.95% yoy.

Villa rental prices registered an increase in October 2012. Prices increased 1.27% mom and 5.17% yoy.

Apartment rental prices with the size “50sqm and less”, increased by a nominal 1.95%; for “51sqm-100sqm”, increased by a nominal 1.44%; for “101sqm-150sqm”, decreased by 1.77%; for “151sqm and more”, apartment sales prices increased by a nominal 1.89% in October 2012.


Abu Dhabi Residential Property Price Indices: Sales Price Indices
The Abu Dhabi Residential Property Price Index for all residential increased by 0.11 points, from 63.32 to 63.43, which represents an increase of 0.18% mom in October 2012. On the other hand, prices decreased 7.68% yoy.

Apartment sales prices increased 0.05% in October 2012 compared to September 2012 and decreased 12.35% compared to October 2011.

Villa sales prices registered an increase in October 2012. Prices increased 0.30%  mom but  decreased 2.42% yoy.

Apartment sales prices with the size “50sqm and less”, decreased  by a nominal 1.74%; for “51sqm-100sqm”, increased by a nominal 0.05%; for “101sqm-150sqm”, increased by 0.93%; for “151sqm and more”, apartment sales prices decreased by a nominal 0.31% in October 2012.

Abu Dhabi Residential Property Price Indices: Rental Price Indices
Residential property prices in Abu Dhabi rental market decreased by 0.30 points, from 60.82 to 60.52, which represents a decrease of  0.50% mom in October 2012. On the other hand, prices decreased  7.01% yoy.

Apartment rental prices decreased 0.11% in October 2012 compared to September 2012 and also decreased 1.03% compared to October 2011.

Villa rental prices registered a decrease in October 2012. Prices decreased 0.77%  mom and 10.14% yoy.

Apartment rental prices with the size “50sqm and less”, increased by a nominal 1.37%; for “51sqm-100sqm”, increased by a nominal 1.08%; for “101sqm-150sqm”, increased by 0.35%; for “151sqm and more”, apartment sales prices increased by a nominal 1.34% in October 2012.
