REIDIN Turkey Residential Property Price Indices: January 2017 Results

According to the results of REIDIN TURKEY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY PRICE INDICES, supported by İŞBANK, the residential sales prices registered an increase in TR-68 cities during January 2017. Prices increased 0.91% m-o-m and also increased 8.88% y-o-y.

The residential rental values registered a decrease in TR-68 cities during January 2016. Prices decreased 0.14% m-o-m but increased 6.06% y-o-y.

İŞBANK’s Retail Loans Manager Mr. Recep Haki said “By the end of of 2016, İŞBANK raised its mortgage loan volume to 17.7 billion with an increase of 12,5%, compared to the year-end and with it’s %10,7 market share Isbank continues to be one of the major players in the sector. Regulations and consumer friendly arrangements in recent times, such as increasing loan-to-value ratio and reducing the legal rates of VAT, have strengthened expectations for the future. The mobility brought to the sector thru these, positively reflected to the banking sector as an increase in loan volumes. We believe that, our cooperation with Emlak Konut GYO A.Ş., where we will be able to offer affordable interest rates along with maturity up to 240 months, will contribute to the mobility in 2017.
